Edward Diamond

Ed grew up in Des Moines, Iowa but has called Colorado home since 1970. He co-founded Diamond Homes with his late father. Earning a B.B.A., with emphasis in Architecture, Engineering and Business from the University of Iowa, Ed’s passion for design and construction has been instilled in him thanks to a lifetime of interaction with and achievements in both of these trades. Since 1975, he has guided Diamond Homes as their President. Ed has led Diamond Homes and its talented architectural and construction team in the creation of countless fine homes in Colorado. Over the course of that time, he has developed lifelong friendships with many of their clients.

Ed has been married to Pam for 46 years and they have two grown daughters and three grandchildren. Pam and Ed believe strongly in giving back to their community by volunteering their time and expertise. Over the years they have both been involved in numerous fundraising and civic endeavors in the metro area.

Ed is an avid sports fan and accomplished tennis player. He especially enjoys spending time with his family and his Weimaraner rescue dog Dakota.

Steven Diamond

Steve was born in Des Moines, Iowa and moved to Denver with his family at the age of nine. Steve studied at The University of California at San Diego before returning to the University of Colorado at Boulder to obtain a Bachelor’s degree in International Studies in 1982. Steve then obtained an MBA from the American Graduate School of International Management (Thunderbird) in Finance in 1984. Steve worked for Bank of America in the Corporate Finance Department in Beverly Hills California until 1987 at which time he returned to Denver to join Diamond Homes.

Steve has been married to his wife Cindy for 21 years and they have two daughters - one in high school and one attending college at CU Boulder. Cindy is a nurse and works as a hospital case manager. Steve’s interests include golf, tennis, hiking, traveling and being an active participant and supporter for his children’s passions and interests.

Brian Husmann

Brian grew up in a small town outside of Milwaukee, Wisconsin and after earning a B.A. from the University of Wisconsin, he moved to Vail, Colorado to pursue his dream of becoming a ski instructor. While in Vail, he met his wife, Kara, and the two of them moved to Washington Park for Brian to attend the University of Denver Law School. After practicing law, Brian joined Diamond Homes in 2004.

Brian continues to live in Washington Park with his wife and twin 12-year old daughters – a neighborhood they cherish and will always remain. Brian competes in triathlons and mountain bike racing, is an avid skier and mountain climber, and he and his wife compete together in Ironman Triathlons. Brian’s wife Kara has a Master’s in Special Education, plays an active role in fundraising and bringing attention to Type I Diabetes in the community, and is a cross-country coach at their children’s school, Aspen Academy.
